New NRC-RA Series Reverse Geometry AEC-Q200 Thick Film Chip Resistors

NRC-RA Series
Reverse Geometry AEC-Q200 Thick Film Chip Resistors

NIC Components is pleased to announce the introduction of the NRC-RA Reverse Geometry AEC-Q200 Thick Film Chip Resistors.

NIC's has one of the largest portfolios of thick film chip resistors; from general purpse to high performance anti-pulse options. With designs continuing in the trend of high density it increases the pressure on smaller package sizes and resistor array options while mantaining the best power ratings and temperature performance. The NRC-RA meets higher power ratings using a reverse geometry, placing the terminals across the longer side of the component. This strategy increases the power rating and withstanding voltages within the same physical size.

The NRC-RA series is available in 3 reverse geometry case sizes: 0612, 1020, and 1225. E-24 and E-96 resistance values range from 1 Ω ~ 1 MΩ in ±1% (F), ±1% (G), and ±5% (J) tolerances. Operating temperature range is -55°C ~ +125°C.

The NRC-RA Series meets PB-Free reflow conditions up to 260°C and is RoHS Compliant, halogen free and REACH compliant.

New NPMG Low Loss Molded Power Inductors

NPMG Series
Low Loss Molded Power Inductors

NIC Components, a market leader in performance passives, proudly introduces its latest molded power inductor series, the NPMG series.

The NPMG series is a low loss addition to NIC's molded power inductor line, offering Extremely Low DCR and ultra Low DC & AC Losses. It serves as an upgrade to the renowned NPIM_Z and NPMS product series, taking power inductors to new heights.

The operating temperature range of the NPMT series covers -55°C to +155°C, and component packaging supports both tray or tape and reel for automated placement. NPMG series is RoHS and REACH compliant. Please contact NIC today to review your requirements.

The NPMG series is engineered to excel in a wide range of applications, including DC-to-DC and AC-to-DC converters. Larger sizes are perfect for base stations, servers, routers, and switches, while the smaller chip sizes are ideal for battery-operated devices, body electronics, comfort systems, handheld devices, POS systems, and navigation equipment.

NPMG Series Features

  • Extremely Low DCR
  • Ultra Low DC & AC Losses
  • -55~155°C Operating Range
  • Improved Isat & Irms vs. NPIM_Z Series
  • Supports switching Frequencies up to 5 MHz
  • 13 Footprints with Low Profile Options Available
